Our FightFit Family is made up of the best trainers in Australia. We hand pick instructors who have fought/trained/taught at an elite level so you know you are learning from people who have lived and breathed combat sports.

Francesco Rea

Francesco specializes in private sessions teaching kickboxing, boxing, grappling/brazilian jiu jitsu as well as strength and conditioning training. His training style focuses on being a complete fighter – including striking, kicking, elbows or on the ground grappling with submissions.

In addition, Francesco is a certified boxing trainer, holds a Cert III & IV Fitness qualification, is a level 3 First Aider and a Cert 4 TAE Trainer and Assessor. He has 25 years’ experience training full contact Kyokushin Karate, 10 years Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has competed locally and internationally (including in masters division).

Lewis Kelaher

Holding a Bachelor of Exercise and Health Science and a Cert IV in Fitness, Lewis is passionate about personal training. He specialises in boxing, strength & conditioning and individually tailored programs based on his clients unique training goals i.e. sport specific conditioning, weight loss, hypertrophy and rehabilitation.

Lewis has had 20+ amateur fights and his personal boxing career spans 11 years. His sense of humour and easy-going nature balanced with his practical experience and extensive health and fitness knowledge make for fun and positive yet challenging sessions.

Phillip Catalucci

As a highly experienced fitness professional with an extensive knowledge of functional, sports specific, weight loss, general health & fitness training, Phil has a proven ability to deliver optimum support and training to ensure all clients achieve their desired goals. Phil has trained amateur (and professional) fighters from the ground level all the way through to Olympians and Commonwealth Games boxers.


Ali’s interest in combat sport started back in 2013 when she took up Muay Thai as a way to keep fit and healthy. Her passion quickly grew with her making the transition into boxing a couple of years later, she then went on to compete in her first FightFit Challenge in 2018 where gained a real taste for the sport. Going on to fight competitively as an amateur boxer, Ali earned her first Victorian State Title in 2019, she continues to train hard with her eye set on racking up as many fights as possible.

Specializing in a range of boxing techniques and conditioning exercises, Ali’s classes are fast paced, dynamic and engaging. With experience taking classes, coaching one on one, group sessions and working with our FITkids program, Ali’s approach is varied, fun and thorough. Her positive energy is infectious, and she is always aiming to get you the most out of your workout.


Faisal Fayad

As a fighter, Faisal’s grit, determination and skill saw him win titles at both State and National levels. he brings that same attitude to his clients for boxing, kickboxing and strength sessions.

Diana Thumm

Diana’s boxing and coaching career spans 8 years, she is an accomplished amateur boxer whose never give up attitude transfers into her personal training sessions. She is approachable, friendly and has a passion for the sport and teaching others, priding herself on making sure people are comfortable and have the best workout possible.

Starting her boxing journey with FightFit Diana took part in multiple FightFit challenges, instantly falling in love with the sport and quickly deciding to share her passion by teaching others. She has worked alongside world champion Gary St Clair and Boxing Hall of Fame trainer Johnny Lewis and has competed around Australia with a 6 win – 1 loss record.

Diana specialises in group fitness, one on one training, all female fitness and boxing training as well as kids boxing and fitness training. She also offers various discounts for new and existing clients, one on one sessions and groups – enquire for more details.

Tony Torcasio

Tony’s specialties are boxing, kickboxing, strength circuits and powerlifting. With 30+ years of competition experience he has had the privilege of working alongside and with many of the industry greats.

Over the past five years Tony has been competing in professional powerlifting, setting multiple new national records across three powerlifting federations in two weight classes. His kickboxing career also saw him compete for national titles in four different weight classes.

A powerhouse of energy and knowledge Tony’s sessions are dynamic, intense and demanding in the best kind of way.

Ruan Kotze

Ruan has an extensive list of qualifications including: a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise science, CrossFit level 1 coach certification, and a registered Boxing and Personal Trainer.

Joseph Catalucci

Boxing is in Joseph’s blood, he has been inside boxing gyms since he was born and started punching at two years old! His first fight was at the age of eight and over the years has trained under some of the best coaches in Australia and alongside extremely successful boxers.

Joseph is passionate about technique, ringcraft and sparring and enjoys coaching people from beginner right through to skilled fighters.
