    -Our members range from young to old, and from exercise novices to professional athletes.

     

    -Our trainers are Boxing Trainers as well as accredited Fitness Trainers, and will help you develop your Boxing technique AND fitness.

  • NEW BEGINNERS/INTERMEDIATE CIRCUIT CLASS AT SOUTH MELBOURNE – 6PM MONDAY

    We have a new class at South Melbourne starting at 6pm every Monday.

    This Class is designed for all fitness levels and all members are welcome to join. It will consist of a good warm up, a demonstration and practice of exercises used in the class, then a group of different basic own body weighted, cardio and weighted exercises that will be run 1 minute on with 1 minute rest. With this class you will get out of it what effort you put into it, so anybody can get a good workout.

    Boxing is one of the highest fat burning exercises you can do, burning up to 900 calories an hour, and if incorporated into a circuit training program can help you lose even more fat. This also makes boxing a great exercise for people with a busy schedule.

     

    Long hours spent hunched over a desk can lead to back and shoulder problems, and in severe cases can require surgery.
     
    Boxing is a core heavy exercise, which means it builds strength in the back, abs and chest, which can improve posture.

    Studies in the US have shown that circuit training is the most time efficient way to enhance cardio fitness AND muscle endurance together.
    The same study also showed that circuit training helps women achieve their goals and maintain them for longer VS other forms of weight and cardio training.
